End of first week in new job, enjoying it so far, really great team that I work with.

Start new job in two weeks and son starts his first job next week, will be strange for a while I'm sure.

What can I say except what a wonderful powerful performance.  His voice is still amazing at the age of 83, we had a great time.

Off to see him tonight.  Didn't find out in time that he was appearing in Birmingham, so off to Cardiff.

I was saddened to hear of Michael Jackson's death, most of his life has been in the spotlight hopefully now he will be truly at peace.  We had been so looking forward to attending his concert on 22 July.

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

Hubby and I went to see the new Star Trek movie, just wonderful.  TOS has always been my favourite and I loved their new incarnation, thought Spock was great.

My son who finishes uni this June has just been notified that he's been successful at recent job interview, so proud of him.

Lovely day yesterday, weather glorious which was great as it was my friends wedding, held in the wilds of Shropshire.  Everything went smoothly and caught up with someother friends, even had a dance or two which in 3" high heels was a miracle for me.

Well I am still enjoying my retirement.  Catching up on lots of things to do in house and garden, and acting as chauffeur for my son.

Have managed to get tickets for the Michael Jackson concert in London in July so looking forward to that.

Catching up on reading, in Stargate SG -1 Universe and also watching cricket.
